Introducing New JLM Couture Designer Allison Webb!
We’re elated to welcome our newest designer, Allison Webb, to JLM Couture! Allison is assuming the role of head designer for her namesake Allison Webb bridal collection, launching in October 2017, as well as the Ti Adora by Allison Webb collection, which debuted in April 2017.
Originally from Georgia, Allison attended the University of Georgia and studied abroad in Scotland at the University of St. Andrews. She then pursued her dream of fashion design at Parsons in New York City.
Allison began her career as an intern for Chado Ralph Rucci where she witnessed the art of true couture dressmaking firsthand. Her draw to luxury craftsmanship led her to Oscar de la Renta where she spent a year working alongside Oscar and his design team. Soon after, Allison was hired by J.Crew to work on their ready-to-wear and bridal collections. Allison’s career progressed with roles at Tory Burch and ANN INC., where she designed luxury embellishments and bridal gowns.
When asked about inspiration for the new Ti Adora collection Allison said, “The Ti Adora bride is above all, a modern romantic.” “Keeping with that spirit, the collection is infused with ethereal elegance; innovative lace combinations, feminine silhouettes, and a sense of lightness that echoes the brand’s garden boho roots.”
The Allison Webb bride is modern, elevated, and above all, elegant. She looks for a timeless bridal gown with clean lines, touches of embroidery, and fresh details. “My goal is for Allison Webb gowns to be the perfect mix of timelessness and relevance; I want them to amplify a bride's natural beauty and for her to feel like the most stunning version of herself on her wedding day.” said designer Allison Webb.
